two works on indian philosophy

saw these two in the books review section of the hindu :

 

1. kapila munivarin saankya thatthuvam - exposition of sankya

philosophy in TAMIL based on ishvara krishna's saankya kaarika and

vaachaspathi mishra's tattva kaumudi. written by a traditional

scholar in rural TN. (personally delighted that the native traditions

are still alive).

 

2. perceptors of the advaita tradition - pre and post shankara

advaita - edited by tmp mahadevan (and sponsored by the kanchi

matha?).
