Deep Sleep Healing

Recently we discussed deep sleep in a rather academic manner. The

following advertisement for a book called The Sacred Unconscious puts

it in a new light for me. The author, famed scholar Huston Smith,

says that in deep sleep we actually encounter the divine and receive

rejuvenation, without which we could not proceed with life. Somehow

this idea of a nightly encounter with the infinite fascinates me.
