I agree that it does not matter to an advaitin whether one sees 'my green' in

place of 'my red'.

 

But this scenario helps in showing that maya is the creation of our

mind-intellect and nothing else. mind-intellect in turn are non other than

mayaa.

Nama rupa are created by our mind-intellect which is itself mayaa.

mayaa creates mayaa, gets bonded by itself, enjoys and pains by itself and gets

released by itself.

This scenario of Qualia just helps to show what is mayaa.

That is why j~naaneshvara maharaj coined the phrase of "dR^iShTaa-

dR^iShTa vijaye" as his concluding remarks in the j~naaneshvarii

(pasaayadaana).

 

Liberal meaning - Conquering, confirming what is being seen by the

observer.

 

Therefore, to know and to realize that the perception is not the

reality is the truth. (This is one of the conclusions of my up-

coming book on the Significance of Purusha sukta).
