Sleep 'can increase brain power'

Namaste,

 

Here is an interesting article on how sleep can improve brain performance.

What I found particularly interesting with respect to Advaita is the

apparent importance of deep sleep:

>He highlighted a period of sleep called slow-wave sleep -

>a deep sleep not thought to be punctuated by dreams.

>linked by other studies to a decrease in memory function,

>and in decreasing ability to recognise "hidden structures".

 

Including the 'hidden structure' of Brahman?! :-)
