An Interview with Maya Devi

Many Pranams All

Some thoughts that tickled a funny bone spurred me to write this. My

apologies in advance if it sounds frivolous or if i have taken some

liberties with some beloved members ( though the intention was not to

do so).

'S' is Sridhar and 'M' is Mayadevi.

-------

S :Namaste Mayaji, it is so kind of you to consent to this interview

M: Not at all. I am just doing my job. Even this interview you think

you

you are having with me is a testimony to my power :) and that I am

as real as real can get.

S :I actually thought of having a direct dialogue with you rather than

invoke the Brahman. They say it is better to fall at the feet of

your

opponent in court than to fall at the feet of the witness.

I am a bit confused by all the recent discussions in the advaitin

list

as to your true nature. What is happening out there.

M :Several things are happening. You could say that truth is being

revealed or truth is being obsucured by my two powers.

S : Please go easy on this being with a limited intellect. Do

explain yourself without asking me to infer or conjecture or

figure it out.

M : Just look at the last two months. After intense discussions on

Atmanandaji's teachings on consciousness, light in enlightenment etc.

what has come into play now?

S: Ofcourse, I do see that. Every subject is only about maya.

Everyone seems to be under your sway.I did a word count and found

that 'Maya' outvoted consciousness/Brahman by a landslide margin. The

veil seems thick indeed.

M: Not only that. Have you seen my projection powers. I projected a

very

learned and enchanting chittaranji into the system. I have projected

Sadaji into dvaita groups. His vasana for a nice little skirmish with

them

( and theirs with him) will get stronger. I even dragged Ben who

thinks consciousness is everything into the dvaita - advaita

samvaada. So do not underestimate my importance in the scheme of

things.Just watch where this

is going to lead.

S: What then is your purpose and what is your end game with respect

to this group.

M: Mysterious are my ways. With a stronger understanding of my nature

all

the sattvic souls could evolve in a big leap.Alternatively, I could

fascinate and confuse the hell out of a lot of them and have this

thread going on. Either ways Isvara's will will be done.

S:I have heard that Ramakrishna Paramahamsa himself had to be helped

to

firmly cut, as with a sword, the image of Devi with the help of his

Guru for that final leap into oneness.

Will you allow yourself to be thus dispensed with so that all of us

can merge in the consciousness. And do offer some kind final words at

the close of this interview.

M: There is no need for such drastic measures. I exist but in your

mind.

Still it and you will realize I cannot Veil you from you.As for the

last word, when you think you have written this and posted this

understand that

I have had my way. Happy questing for truth.

Many Pranams to all

In addition to the above examples, no one in India could predict

what Mayawati (fitting name for any politician and especially for

this lady) is going to do in the upcoming parlimentary elections!

She has also been interviewed by politicians and newsreporters to

find out the "Truth and/or lies" about her and her motives.

Finally, it is fair to conclude that "Maya is everywhere and we can

see, hear, taste, touch, smell and feel her presence." The one and

only difference between the Brahman and Maya - Both are present

everywhere; Maya changes at everymoment with a form and a name; but

Brahman remains changeless without a name and a form!!

Warmest regards,

Ram Chandran

Note: Mayawati was formerly the chief minister of Uttarpradesh and

last year, suddenly decided to resign and that is again due to the

spell of mAyA!

Namaste.

Sridharji, I wish you had continued the interview with MAyA for a

longer time! I enjoyed every word of it and particularly the above

quoted extract. Keep going!

PraNAms to all advaitins and to MAyA Devi.
