Guest guest
The following story was narrated by Swami Dayananda A man was walking around A seaBeach leisurely when a friend stopped him and said` dear friend, why are you wasting your time on the beach?it is still daylight. You could fish .I already did that and sold at a good price too,.But why do'nt you catch some more so you can get more money?. What will i do then? Well ,you can save it and some more so you can buy a nicer house than your present one,or employ few servants to fish for you, then buy another boat ,and make a lot more money. Then what will i do when i have servants fishing for me? Then you do'nt have to work so hard yourself. You can just take leisurely walk by the sea. The man looked confused. He said to his friend `my friend, that`s what i was doing in the first place before you came along' This story is really illustrating that happiness is contented state of mind and does not depend on how much material worth you may or may not have.Happiness is a state of mind Nirmala
