Guest guest
Namaste Sunderji, Thank you for your steer to the Indian Council of Philosophical Research. Many worthy programmes but no homepages or papers on the net. Pity! I checked out C.C.Parameswaran's recommendation to Prof.K. Sobottka is a Physics Professor who takes us from Anaximander to Schrodinger and Shankara all in 167 pages. http://faculty.virginia.edu/consciousness/ If I were an academic and this was presented by a first year student my red biro would run riot. Why do the Indian scholars cede the net to this? Best Wishes, Michael.

Namaste Michaelji, The breed of philosophers to feel commfortable in navigating the oceans of Western and Eastern philosophies, in addition to Internet technology, is still to come! The young IT wizards need a few more years to mature, and the older ones just missed the boat of Computers! Some may be too shy to express themselves in English or a foreign language, though highly proficient in Sanksrit and regional languages. Yet, you will find more give and take among the Western and Indian minds. See, for example : http://www.here-now4u.de/eng/hinduism__p.htm Regards, Sunder
