After sending the previous post in reply to Madathil Nairji's

question about "Gunas are three; Varnas are four. How does 'four'

arise from 'three'?", I felt it is rather unfair for me to ask

readers to go through three long posts to get the answer to this

question. Though I have also given web page references to my site,

I think it is fair to tell you exactly on what page, the direct
