Guest guest
Namaste SrI Raj-ji and SrI Michael-ji, There is a good discussion between Yudhishthira and Nahusha in the mahAbhArata vanaparva (if my memory is right) on this topic. I dont have the reference with me right now, but I can search and give it to you in case you want. Please read it to know the other side of the coin. Thanks. Also, please note the gIta statement that the wise person would not discriminate between a brAhmaNa, a dog and a dog-eater. PS: I think the mahAbhArata is given a higher status among smRtis. I could be wrong though. Also, I am not an apologist, just in case you may be thinking so.
