No more jis for me please

Please don't put that extra ji after my name. I have struggled enough

with one ji. I don't want so much respect and shall concede to it if

anyone says that he is better than me. I am just looking to realize

the ultimate truth. You see I am still only a seeker. So please donot

address me with so much respect, that is due only to Rishis, munis,

or a samyak-sambuddha.

one caanot write out your entire name because it is too many letters

and too much typing ... my fingers ache!! smiles!!

 

one cannot call you just Bala - because Bala is the name of a female

deity - Bala Tripurasundari - herself.

 

Balaji is our beloved Tirupathi VEnkatachalapathy !

 

now, having addressed this issue .... what is in a name ?

You are right. Personally I don't care what you call me: Balaji or

Bala or anything, just inform me that I shall be called as such. But

not that extra ji thing. It is undue respect to a person not worth

such respect from such wise people. Everyone from Benjaminji, Raj-

Shekarji have used it. Please simply use my name - no extra jis.
