Thank you dear Krishnamurthyji for your blessings and wisdom filled words of

kindness.

Yes, I remember the beautiful story you posted of your father's passing very

well. It was deeply moving to me then as it is now when I think of it. I can

even hear the story in my mind with your father loudly calling the name of

"Narayana" again and again.

My father could not physically call out the divine name, so I shouted them

loudly on his behalf.

I visited my father 4 times in the last three months of his life. Each visit

was between 4 and 6 days.

On the last day of my third visit I was sitting in the hospital. My father

was lying in the bed. My mother was sitting in another chair near the bed.

It was night time. Visiting hours had been over at 9pm but we were just

sitting there, unwilling to go home.

Knowing that I was leaving early next morning weighed heavily on me and that

night being emotionally and physically exhausted my head dropped to my chest

and I bent down towards my father and started sobbing uncontrollably.

My father, even though he was in such a weakened condition, somehow with the

little strength he had left raised his right hand and put it on my head.

Love to all

Harsha
