Guest guest
shri krishnanji, saadar pranaams! after reading your post on the formless and god with form, i am reminded of this versesfrom shri ramana's Upadesa Saram ... bandha-muktayati tam-param-sukham vindatihajivastu-daivakah The *jiva* who attains the state of Supreme Bliss , beyond any thoughts of bondage or freedom is truly devoted to the LORD.... THIS verse is the maharishi's conclusion as to the relationship between bhakti and jnana margas. Abiding in the state of Supreme Bliss is true 'service' or worship to the Lord because the divine jiva is not seperate from BraHman and realizes his identity. Whatever he may 'do' is itself divine. Devotion is not truly Bhakti as long as the worshipper believes himself to be a seperate reality, usurping thereby something of the universality of the Lord's Being and CONSCIOUSNESS. Only the utter surrender of one's individuality can be true Bhakti , which is also true Jnana. ********************************************************************** On this great Tuesday dedicated to Ram bhakt Shri Hanuman (Anjaneya bhagwan) , join me in saluting the greatest bhakta ... Prabhu Mudrika Meli Mukha Maaheen, Jaladhi Langhi Gaye Acharaj Naheen Keeping the Lord's ring in your mouth, you conquered the mighty ocean. Durgam Kaaj Jagat Ke Jete, Sugam Anugrah Tumhre Te Te With your grace all the impediments and the difficulties in the world can be overcome easily. Ram Duware Tum Rakhavare, Hoat Na Aagya Bin Paisare No one can enter Rama's abode without your consent, O sentinel of the Lord. JAI BAJARANGA BALI!
