Or better examples would be Trishanku's exclamation in Taittiriya upanishad: 1:10:1 - ahaM vRRkShasya reriva - "I am the mover of the Tree (of samsara)........", or Vamadeva exclaiming "I was Manu and I became the Sun" (Rig Veda IV.26.1).
