Guest guest
dear all, i wanted to quote from Gita on Dridha Niscaya but was in a rush to go to work ! here is that wonderful quote Adveshtaa sarva bhutaanaam rnaitra karuna eva cha Nirrnamo nirahamkaara sama dukha sukha kshami; Santushta satatarn yogi yataatmaa *drida nischayah* Mayyarpita rnano buddhir yo mad bhakta sa me priyah "Malice towards none, friendship and charity for all, devoid of 'l' and 'Mine', bearing with equanimity of mind, happiness and sorrow, always contented, the yogi who is self-restrained and of firm resolve, whose mind and intellect are surrendered to Me, that devotee is dear to Me."(Gita XII-13 & 14) -- So declares Bhagavan Krishna in His "Song Celestial". here, the meaning of drida nischayah means 'Firm resolve' or firm determination just like nairji and i mentioned in our posts... The point is , all kinds of interpretations are possible for this term drida nischayah! love and blessings AUM NAMO BHAGVATE VASUDEVAYA!
