Guest guest
Namaste all, Just want to add more to the confusion of Infinity and 0 !!! Infinity is equivalent to 0 . If Infinity is divided, multipied, added or substracted. Result will always be infinity. If O (nothingness) is divided, multipied, added or substracted. Result will always be 0. As Balaji said, how many elements are there in interval 0 and 1, infinite. If there are infinite elements between 0 and 1 then each element should be equal to 0. Because we arrive at infinite number of elements by dividing the interval 0-1 into infinte parts. (those elements cannot have finite length, mass, etc. They should be zero as we have divided the interval infinitely) So now we have infinite zeros which make up the interval 0-1. !!! This is absurd. Means when we divide the interval 0-1, we have to do it infinitely. we wont get the result. Infinity and 0 can be understood only in limit. Hence both are equivalnet.
