Guest guest
THE word and the meaning are so inseparable that Kalidasa compares them to Sakthi and Siva. "Vaak" or "word" is Sakthi and "Artha" or "meaning" is Siva. They are entwined in a passionate embrace - is how the immortal poet presents the picture. VAAGARTHAVIVA SAMPRAKTAU VAAGARTHA PRSTIPATTAYE JAGATAH PITAHARAU VANDE PARVATI PARAMESHWARAU KALIDASA SAYS JUST AS AS A WORD AND A MEANING ARE INSEPERABLE, THE FATHER AND MOTHER OF THE UNIVERSE=PARVATI AND PARAMESHWERA ARE ONE and worshippable as one! Aum namaha shivaye! namaskaar adi ji, i whould like to quote two shlokas from kathopnishad in this support-- 1-II-23. The Self cannot be attained by the study of the Vedas, not by intelligence nor by much hearing. Only by him who seeks to know the Self can It be attained. To him the Self reveals Its own nature. 1-II-24. None who has not refrained from bad conduct, whose senses are not under restraint, whose mind is not collected or who does not preserve a tranquil mind, can attain this Self through knowledge. the self being attainable only by a pure heart, and the self revealed only by the grace of the self. Aum namaha shivaye gautam. .
