Greetings Members:

 

The List Moderators request members not to click the email sent to

the advaitin list more than once. We received complaints from

members that they receive the same message more than two times from

several members. We want members to note the following facts about

mailing list server:

 

Sometime, the post may not appear immediately after you send the

mail. Such delays can extend for few hours. The moderators noticed

that several messages were resent within 1 or 2 minutes from the

first message. The members who sent such quick sequence of the same

message seem to belive that the mailing server didn't register their

mails. As advaitins, we do need to demonstrate more paticience as

part of our 'sadhana.' When we post our regular mails, we do

exercise our understanding and certainly don't post two mails in

ensure delivery of at least one! Let us show some restraint and show

compassion to our fellow members by not sending the same message

several times!

one or two messages by mistake. Our request this time is to request

It would also be worthwhile noting that in this month

of April so far, 508 messages were posted, and @34% (175) bore the

title of this month's topic (pUrNamadaH...). Other threads of

interest were started, but digressions from the list's purpose have

diluted their impact.

 

Members are welcome to comment on this observations of

another member.
