Hi,

 

I was searching for references to Sankara's Tattvabodha when I got a

link from google into a posting in this mailing list.

 

I am Suresh Marur working at Tumbleweed India Pvt. Ltd. (formertly

Valicert India). The strong theoretical and practical foundations of

Sankara's philosophy and its ability to resolve seeming

contradictions among so many other philosophies of the eas and west

amazes me. Along with reading and discussions on this topic, and with

the backing of practice as specified in the sastras, I am beginning

to understand in more depth of the Sankara's teachings.

 

While most of this philosophy and its understanding is beyond

discussion and can be verified only directly by practice, at least

initially (and quite paradoxically), it is necessary to share ideas

with other practitioners. It is at this stage of my "search" that I

want to join this group.

 

Overtime, I wish to get to know people on this mailing list better as

I read and participate in the discussions. On such a forum, I do not

believe anyone of us require to maintain our anonymity.
