Thank you Maniji for these uplifting prayers .

I specially liked these lines in your post.

""O Lord, help me to let go of the past. Let me not try to change

what I cannot. When I blame someone, I do not let go. I want to

change what I cannot change. In blaming, there is no acceptance of a

fact. There is an attempt to change what I cannot. O Lord, let me not

blame anyone. What has happened is a fact. It remains a fact. I

cannot do anything about it. I do not have remorse, resentment, or

anger. O Lord, let me not try to change what I cannot change. May I

have the will to back up my desire, to fulfill my will. May I have

adequate effort to change what I can. May I have no confusion with

reference to what I can and cannot change. I implore Thy help.""

Let go and Let God - is one of the 10 steps in all AL-ANON meetings.

( alcholics anonymous - where the addict confesses he is powerless

over his/her addiction and seeks Divine intervention.)

LET GO & LET GOD

Helen Steiner Rice

When you're troubled and worried

And sick at heart

And your plans are upset,

And your world falls apart.

Remember God's ready

And waiting to share

The burden you find

Much too heavy to bear-

So with faith, "Let Go"

And "Let God" lead the way

Into a brighter

And less-troubled day-

For God has a plan

for everyone

If we learn to pray.

They will be done

For nothing in life

Is without God's design

For each life is fashioned

By the Hand that's Divine.

Let Go and Let God!
