Note from the List Moderators:

Namaste,

We extend a cordial welcome to another new member to the list.

We would like all members, (new - old - returning) - to feel at home

in this 'advaita-cyber-satsang', and share the spiritual wisdom they

are

familiar with, within the scope of this list.

Those who feel shy and prefer to remain anonymous can still send

their

ideas/questions/etc. to any of the Moderators for a response.

We hope you will enjoy your participation, and share your joy with

us.

My Name is Michael Buxton from London U.K .

I would request to be included in on your list membership.

It has been suggested by one of my teachers, Mr Ken Knight to join

this list

and join a global community of persons whose pursuit is truth

through the enquiry

of Advaita . Ken informs that he is to host a discussion in June on

the topic of Maya

in the Vedas and I would be interested in partaking.

I have for almost 30 years been involved in a group in London who

have received

instruction on meditation and a certain form of advantage philosophy

from the former

Northern Shankarachara, Shantanda Saraswati.

Thank you very much for your consideration.

New Member Introduction - Welcome to Sri Michael Buxton

I have for almost 30 years been involved in a group in London who

have received

instruction on meditation and a certain form of *advantage* philosophy

from the former Northern Shankarachara, Shantanda Saraswati.

Note from the List Moderators: You are quite right that to understand 'advaita'

there is no special 'advantage' in having a spell-checker! Neither the English

vocabulary can fully describe advaita!!

Funny! Your spell-checker is not aware of 'checker' either! LOL. I

am joking.
