Guest guest
Namaste Dr Yadu and your parrot, Knowing your parrot's love of advaita like the parrots outside Mandana's residence I am sure that it must be getting very restless, wanting to know when this daft Englishman is going to get round to mentioning mAyA in the vedas. Well, I am leaving clues as we go along, but if I divide to define too early my ten 'slices' of exposition will be even more exposed to the precipices at the edges of separation. You say 'you can never go beyond the limit of your own mind' but that first 'germ of mind' was in Tad Ekam...as the nasadIya sUkta states. What a problem understanding the word 'mind' can be. Even Shanakra seems to use different meaning for buddhi and chitta and manas from time to time. I have briefly touched on heart/mind in postings so far but in the Vedic context we need to understand 'dhI'. Maybe you would like to have a taste of a future posting on division and discuss it with the parrot so that you can both explain it all in a few days' time when the full posting appears. Good to hear from you again, ken Knight ===== ‘From this Supreme Self are all these, indeed, breathed forth.’ Friends. Fun.
