Ken-knightji!

This is awesome! Thank you for quoting these two verses on 'suparna'

now it is becoming more and more clearer!

RVI.164 21,22

(yátraa suparNaá amR'tasya bhaagám ánimeSaM

vidáthaabhisváranti |

inó víshvasya bhúvanasya gopaáH sá maa dhiíraH paákam

átraá vivesha ||

'Where those fine Birds hymn ceaselessly their portion

of life eternal, and the sacred synods,

There is the Universe's mighty Keeper, who, wise, hath

entered into me the simple.')

yásmin vRkSé madhvádaH suparNaá nivishánte súvate

caádhi víshve |

(tásyéd aahuH píppalaM svaadv ágre tán nón nashad yáH

pitáraM ná véda ||

'The tree whereon the fine Birds eat the sweetness,

where they all rest and procreate their offspring,-

Upon its top they say the fig is luscious none gaineth

it who knoweth not the Father.')

Yes!

suparnaa vipraah kavayo vachobhirekam santam bahudhaa kalpayanti

The learned and wise describe the One existing God in many forms of

expressions.

( Rig 10.114.5 )
