Guest guest
Dear Friend Chitta-ji, we are looking forward to your presentation on this topic Real and the Unreal! we are getting really 'spoiled' in this forum! so many wonderful topics and such wonderful presentations! first, the Purnamidam debate - Nairji really made it very 'exciting' with such lively participation. then, of course beloved Ken-ji writing on Maya in the vedas - very scholarly but at the sametime full of wit and wisdom - now, we have Your presenting your perspective on the Real and the Unreal!!! Between you and Bhaskarji, i expect a lot of lively and interesting discussions! Ranjeetji is just waiting to 'pitch' in after being away for so long! Nairji would have completed this 'circle but he is away!! Well, a 'triangle is ok too!! smiles!!! These words of Krishna, come from the second chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, starting at verse 16:- The *unreal* never is: the *Real* never is not. This truth indeed has been seen by those who can see the true. Interwoven in his creation, the Spirit is beyond destruction. No one can bring to an end the Spirit which is everlasting. For beyond time he dwells in these bodies, though these bodies have an end in their time; but he remains immeasurable, immortal. Vasudevam sarvam iti!!! i am intrigued by the conjunction "and" between Real and Unreal!!! the mystery will unfold itself when Maya unveils herself during your presentation or as kenji would say as Maya the magician weaves her magic wand!!! Lead me from Asatoma ma sadgamaya! Best wishes, your friend and well-wisher
