Namaste, Adi-Shakti-ji However much informative this above post is on the Dasamahavidyas, I would suggest it be discussed off the list, since it is likely to distract the central focus of the discussion as of now, namely, the subject of Reality and Unreality and the stand of advaita on these. And generally, subjects which have only a tangential impact on advaita and works of Shankara, may, instead of randomly being generated (and perhaps casually answered) in the midst of the main discussion, rather be scheduled for a focus of a longer discussion, if and when there arises a need for it. Sorry for the interruption. PraNAms to all advaitins profvk
Guest guest
professor vkji ! I know 'chinnamasta' belongs to the Realm Of Tantra and i have already sent a private email to Krishna prasad ji that i will be more than happy to direct him to the web sites which discuss the Ten dasha mahavidyas. and if you read my message carefully, you will notice the key phrase Via Email! (Yes, i would love to direct you to all the web sites that describe the Ten wisdom Goddesses in detail. (via email)) Professor-ji, there is a saying in Tamizh which goes like this... NALLA MATTUKU ORU SHOODU PORUM FOR A GOOD COW ONE 'BURN' IS ENOUGH meaning to a sensitive oerson, one admonition is more than enough. so do you think in all honesty, after Shri Ramachandran's note i will dare to commit more transgressions. AS ALWAYS , I HONOR YOUR WORDS love and regards
