Guest guest
Namaste, In view of the loss of 3 days of postings due to a server glitch, and to give adequate time to Chittaranjan-ji to round off his series (and for the readers to raise questions and receive answers), it would seem fair to extend the deadline for conclusion to Aug 2004 (or even perhaps Sept. 2004). Two more topics are yet to be discussed: Greg-ji's 'Place of Practice in Vedanta'; and Bhaskar-ji's 'Adhyaropavada', and we may take them up in that order, if they agree. The complete list of suggested topics is in the Files section, and as usual will be posted on the 1st of each month. Volunteers are needed to be chief discussants for any topic of their choice; new topics are also welcome. List Moderators

Thank you Sirs for the extension of time. Apart from the three days of loss due to the server glitch, I have been having other problems as my computer seems to have acquired a mind of its own..... it waits for the crucial moment to reboot itself. But still I don't think I will need more than a week to post the remaining two essays. The rest of the month (Aug 2004) can be left open for discussion of various viewpoints on the topic, but I feel that stretching it to September may not be required. As Shri Ram Chandranji has mentioned, this is an interminable topic and will perhaps only be resolved in realising the Self. But then that truth of realisation can never be fully communicated because the recipient will see this very truth through the veil of ignorance. It is only the Guru that can work through the knot of the disciple's avidya. So I have been told. I once again thank the moderators for giving me the opportunity to learn through these discussions. Warm regards, Chittaranjan
