Namaste,

Mr. X neatly dressed in a white suit, is getting out of his house to attend a

very important interview.

1. As he gets out, he sees his toddler baby girl and he lifts her and

cuddles her. The baby wets his suit.

2. As he gets out, a Punditji enters the house, and sprinkles a little

yellow water (theertham from a temple) on him, and his suit gets stained.

3. As he gets out, suddenly it rains, his suit gets spoiled.

4. As he gets out, he slips and falls down, and his suit gets spoiled.

5. As he gets out, a speeding car, splashes a lot of muddy water a small

puddle on the road, and his suit gets spoiled.

In all the above cases, the result is, X’s suit gets spoiled, though the causes

are different.

What is the attitude of Mr. X towards these different situations. Though the

result is same, is his attitude same.

Attitude makes all the difference.

When self-knowledge gets unfolded, and, as a result, when one recognizes there

is only God, i.e. “OM”, his attitude is same not only towards the results of his

own actions but also towards the causes, whether from Adhibhoutika, Adhyathmika

and or Adhidaivika, leading to results which confronts him, i.e. his attitude

will be “Shanti: Shanti: Shanti:” He accepts everything with Peace, or he never

gets agitated from the results of his actions or other causes of results which

he has to face.

It does not mean he compromises everything. This attitude comes from his Wisdom

alone.

In other words, “Akashavat” like the space, everything gets accommodated and

accepted in him, and not by him. Such a wise person continues to live in

“Sukham” or Anandam i.e. like the space “Kham”

As Ashtavakra said, such a one becomes “Sukhi Shanto Bandhamukta:”

Warm Regards, Hari Om
