Guest guest
Shriman Prabhu-ji ! Thank you for your genrous invitation. In the past , i have visited Bangalore to have Darshan of Satya Sai Baba either at Puttaparthi or Whitefield. On my next Visit, it is my desire to visit Sri MOOKAMBIKA TEMPLE in Kolur and Sri SRINGERI mutt -if Devi wills! Prabhu-ji, i will definitely visit your Guru-ji ! After all, if the sisya is any indication, the Guruji must be equally GReat if not greater!! After all , from a Hare Krishna DEVOTEE to transform into a staunch Advaitin, is not just conversion but Transformation - ... i would love to meet your Guruji who has bestowed so much grace on you! Prabhu-ji , how can one Deny 'satya' be it Vyaharika Satya or for that matter 'Paramarthika' Satya? I am a BHARATANATYAM DANCER . As a dancer , i enjoy portraying all the Nine RASAS .... These Rasas are sringaram (love), vira (heroism), bibhista (disgust), raudra (anger), hasya (mirth), bhayankara (terror), karuna (pity), adbhuta (wonder), shantha (tranquility) and vatsalya (parental Love ). Prabhuji, where else are the Nine RAsas portrayed more effectively tHAN in Ramayana? Yes! The RASIKA that i am , i love to enjoy the Beauty , the mystery , the magic , the wonder, the splendor of God's creation ... and the Tantrika in me learns to delight in the Existence of these Rasas in the Universe or Jagat ! Prabhuji, may i share my favorite verse from Tittiriya Upanishad raso vai saH rasaM hy evAyam labdhvAnandI bhavati "Rasa is Brahman. Upon attaining Brahman, one experiences rasa" ( adwaithic interpretation) YES! BraHman is the essence, by obtaining That all this also will become happy." The Dwaitins interpret the same verse in the following manner Krishna is the reservoir of all rasa. (pleasure). Upon attaining Krishna , one experiences Rasa or bliss . Why is Krishna a reservoir of pleasure? aiSvaryasya samagrasya vIryasya yaSasaH SriyaH j~nAna-vairAgyayoS caiva saNNAM bhaga iti~Ngana "Absolute Personality is resplendent with six opulences: full strength, fame, wealth, knowledge, beauty, and renunciation" (ViSnu PurAna 6.5.47) http://www.elcom.ru/~abhinanda/gaud_aesth_eng.html - 3k - Cached The point is Prabhu-ji, since 'braHman' CAN ONLY BE EXPERIENCED and not described , how do we arrive at the 'Truth' ? not by deneying but by Affirmation ... life affirmation ! Vasudevan Sarvam iti! Everything is Krishna ! This world also his Cosmic Leela ! Srila prabhupada describes this beautifully ... \ Chapter 14. The Yoga of the Supreme Person TEXT 27 brahmano hi pratisthaham amrtasyavyayasya ca sasvatasya ca dharmasya sukhasyaikantikasya ca And I am the basis of the impersonal Brahman, which is the constitutional position of ultimate happiness, and which is immortal, imperishable and eternal. >From Saguna Brahman , one proceeds to Nirguna Brahman by 'upasana' and Adi Shankara bhagvadapada himself admits this on many an occasion! Otherwise, why would he 'author' so many devotional stotras on all the gods/esses... and one last point ... In Sree Lalita Trishati( 300 names of sree Lalita) She ( Sree Lalita Mahatripura sundari) is described as 169. harShapradA SHE who is the bestower of all joys. harShaH means joy or pleasure which is manifested in the countenance, etc. It is the mental attitude of self esteem and depreciation of others. SHE causes this experience, hence, SHE is called as giver of that. SHE is bliss, hence SHE bestows it on others, as the cause and result are one. Or this name can be interpreted in another way. The term "pradA" also means to cut off. SHE cuts off the fleeting pleasures arising from ephemeral things like wealth, youth, children, relatives and so on, by taking them away and conferring renunciation and thereby granting eternal bliss of brahman. (courtesy-ambaal group- Sridhar Seshagiri) PRABHU-JI, WE live in a 'material' world - WE ARE NOT LIVING IN VAIKUNTA ... vaikunta means where there is no 'anxiety' everything is blissful.... but how to make this Jagat like Vailkunta!!! Surrender - Atma- nivedanam - HARIHI AUM!!!
