The real meaning of Mithya is " IN VAIN"

Mohak Mantar Ati Madhur,

Ram Ram Jup Dhyan;

Hota Teeno Lok Mein,

Ram Naam Gun Gaan."

 

With rapt attention repeat

sweetest, enchanting Word ;

Praises of Name, Ram-Ram,

through-out Three Worlds are heard

Mithya Hai Moh Kumad Baitaal.

Mithya Mun Mukhiya Manoraaj,

Sachha Hai Ram Naam Jup Kaaj.

 

In-vain philosophies and religions,

In-vain attachment to mind-made regions,

Mind's flights and heights are all in-vain,

Worth-while alone-repeat the Name !

Mithya Hai Vair Ninda Hath Krodh.

Mithya Droh Durgan Dukh Khaan,

Ram Naam Jap Satya Nidhaan.

 

Of what avail discussion, debate,

Ill will, ill words, to what measure ?

Repeat the Name-th' truest treasure.

>From God this world, thus is spread.

To restless Rest, key to life's riddle.

all else is "in vain" (mithya)

 

Raam naam alone is 'real'

 

He is the world !

 

so, prabhu-ji, on this beautiful tTuesday, let us all be like rama

bhakta Hanuman and take Lord Rama's name and cross this ocean of

samsara!
