Guest guest
Hi all, I just joined this group and would like to introduce myself. By education I am a computer engineer, having done B.Tech from IIT Roorkee. But truly I am a philosopher at heart. Since January 2000 [when I first read the Gita], I have been trying to understand the message of religion and apply it to my life, as well as help others apply it to theirs. After trying to understand the message of the Gita for around 1 1/2 years, I realised the profund wisdom in it and how relevant it was to today's world. I then started writing an interpretation of the Gita in terms of scientific symbolisms - trying to equate concepts like Brahma, Atma to modern science concepts like Universe, Self etc. I like to call this interpretation: 'If Krishna was here today: the Gita Revisited' - its an interpretation which tries to convey the age-old message of the Gita, but using modern concepts. I am also the author of a book "Religion Revisited: An exploration into the mind of God". I am looking forward to interacting with this group and sharing my views as well as understanding the groups views on religion, the Gita and the Upanishads... for the universe has lead me to this group - am looking forward to see what God wants me to learn from it Sincerely, Konark Win 1 of 4,000 free domain names from Enter now.
