Guest guest
Namaste. This is on practical aspects of spiritual practice. In my opinion, finding the thread of spirituality in daily life invovles finding the thread of Dharma within daily life. Each daily aspect has to be resonant with Dharma. It may sound utterly uninteresting, but, it may be a lot of joy. Dharma of Niagara falls is to fall down to the earth and not to go up in the sky. Going up is Adharma and any such seeking is bound to be futile and frustrating. Adharma thus in this context is not sin or bad... ...it is just unnatural. Dharma is thus as natural as common sense. Hence, living with Dharma involves finding the rhythm of the universe and tuning with it in a small and individual way. All individual efforts thus seemingly get reinforced from all corners of the universe---to give an example, when Newton was probably contemplating on gravity, an apple fell thus reinforcing his thought-process. Same was the case with Archimedes who shouted 'Eureka' with joy when he floated in water. Hence, finding spirituality in life boils down to finding and living the thread of Dharma in daily life. Although it seems simple as common sense, yet it gets too messy and complicated like a spider's web on one's own accord and the only way out is to look out of the little web into the vast open sky in the direction of Brahman in daily life.
