Guest guest
Thank you Nair-ji! Wow! what 'Divine Power' ( daivi shakti) in those Words, Thoughts, Emotions, Logic, Reasoning - Shakti 'empowered' you with the best of poetry, Romance and Mysticism! >From your divine post, the following names of Devi came to mind !!! Aum VindyaChala vilasini Maa! Aum Namo Namosthuthe!( vindhya mountains) Aum KanyaKumari Maa ! Aum Namo Namosthuthe! (Girl Friend) Aum Simhavahini Maa ! Aum Namo Namosthuthe! (Mounted on a Lion) Aum Kamalatmika Maa ! Aum Namo Namosthuthe! ( seated on a Lotus- Goddess of Delight ) and Finally Consciousness Ya Devi Sarvabhooteshu Chetanetyabhideeyate ! Namastasyei Namastasyei Namastasyei Namo Namah As you have rightly said , for a DevI bhakta, every day is a day of worship and every moment is a moment of rejoicing in the company of the Beloved ! But there is something 'special' about Sharad Navaratri ! The legend has it that this is the time Devi Durga leaves her Husband Shiva's abode In Kailash to visit her Mother's house on earth accompanied by Goddess Saraswati and her Son Ganesha ! Any Mother would love to welcome her daughter home - hence all the 'fanfare' !and i know the feeling -as an 'earth' mother , how delighted i feel when my married daughter comes home !! In reality, Rituals , Rules and Regulations do not mean much to someone who is situated in pure consciousness but they mean a lot to someone who is struggling on the path - the Rituals are there only as a tool not as a Crutch!! Hanuman could cross the Ocean in one single leap with the help of Rama-nama on his lips! but Lord Rama himself had to build a bridge with Rocks from the Sea and shores to cross the Ocean with the help of Hanuman and his band of thousands of monkeys! (Sethu Bandanam)! and Nair-ji, today The DIvine Mother sent two wonderful gifts my way - one your Divine message and the other, a beautiful ivory image of Devi Durga from Bengal from a colleague of mine! this is a double blessing and very auspicious! Nair-ji, may i also thank our beloved Maniji on his wonderful post on the Ashta vargas .... ? In a few days from now, we will be saying goodbye to Summer and welcoming 'AUTUMN' - this is the season when Trees shed their 'leaves' ... And Likewise while celberating Navaratri in this autumnal season, let us shed our 'negative' tendencies and replace them with all positive energies! Let 'devi' reside like the perennial 'spring' ( BASANTI IS A NAME FOR DEVI) in our hearts! with a spring in my step and a dance in my heart, i thank you, Nair- ji! "Sakti-Jnana Vina Devi Nirvanam Naiva Jayate" O Devi! Without knowledge of Sakti, Mukti cannot be attained, says Siva to Devi. Aum Bhukti Mukti Pradayini! Jai Gurudeva! Jai Maa!
