What prostration (pranama) for the non-dual Reality? vishva = universe aanandayituH = (of the) Cherisher tasya = of (That) kiM = what taambuulaM = betel-nut prakalpate = prepare svayaM-prakaasha = self-shining chidruupaH = of the nature of Consciousness yaH = who asau = that arka = sun aadi = (and) others bhaasakaH = illuminator gIyate = sung shrutibhiH = (by the) Vedas (Revealed Scriptures) tasya = His nIraajana = (ceremonial waving of) lamp vidhiH = method (of worship) kutaH = how pradakshiNam = circum-ambulation anantasya = (of the) Infinite praNaamaH = prostration advaya = Non-dual vastunaH = (of the) Ultimate Truth How (does one) prepare (the offering) of a betel-nut for One who ids the Cherisher of this universe? How (should one) wave the lamp to That which is the Self-Shining Consciousness, the illuminator of the sun and other stars, extolled by the Vedas?
