vedavaachaamavedyasya kiM vaa stotraM vidhIyate .

antarbahiH saMsthitasya udvaasanavidhiH kutaH .. 8..

 

veda = Vedas

vaachaam = words

avedyasya = (of the) Inscrutable

kiM = what

vaa = or

stotraM = hymns

vidhIyate = ritually (sung)

antar-bahiH = inside (and ) outside

saMsthitasya = (of the One) abiding

udvaasanavidhiH = farewell ceremony

kutaH = how

 

For the (One who is) Inscrutable even to the Vedas, the Revealed

Scriptures, what hymns (can be sung)? What is the farewell ceremony

for the One who abides (both) inside and outside?
