Namaste H et al,IMHO, The Self of which Ramana speaks mostly is the Saguna Brahman and ultimately unreal, for never having existed. This is not the final step, excepting as we are Praneaswara or the Shakti, we have to go throught that stage. (Sat-Cit-Ananda are attributes and therefore Saguana.) IE. Realising that we are the Self/Sakti and at the same moment realising Nirguna. It is difficult to explain IMO for any description limits. This is no doubt why Ramana talked mostly of the Saguna for how can one talk of Nirguna, which cannot be Sat-Cit-Ananda. Also as most people are already afraid of beng 'alone', they wouldn't accept talk of 'God' without attributes. Even many of those on the Advaita path still talk of Sat-Cit-Ananda, although Ramana has stated these are qualities or attributes. In the end result all worship and sadhana is to cleanse the Vijnanamayakosa, so our awareness will rise above the desire for attributes of any kind in ourselves or a 'God'........ONS..Tony.
