The above tract from taittiriiya aaraNyaka captures the vedic spirit of advaita. this is usually chanted during mantrapushhpam as a part of puuja in certain traditions. The praNava which is the symbol, icon par excellence is equivalenced with brahman, vaayu, aatman, satyam, sarvam and beyond. such was the intellectual and metaphysical courage of R^ishhi-s of yore who even sang for peace "brahma shaanti" in the famed shaantimantra. Best wishes to all members here and happy vijaya dashami - the traditional day of vidyaarambha. aa no bhadraaH kratavo yantu vishvataH Rajagopal
