Abandoning the three-fold difference between the Lord, Teacher, and

self, is

the worship of the Non-dual symbol of the Self, like offering bel

leaves to Shiva.

aatmaa = Self

iti = thus , such

bheda = difference

traya = three-fold

vivarjitaiH = abandoning

bilva = bel [leaf is trifoliate - ie with three leaflets]

patraiH = (with) leaves

advitIyaiH = Non-dual

aatmaliN^gaM = symbol of the Self

yajet = worship

shivam = auspicious
