aGYaanochchhishhTakarasya kshaalanaM GYaanavaariNaa .

vishuddhasyaatmaliN^gasya hastaprakshaalanaM smaret.h .. 22..

 

Let one recall that the purifying ablution of the hands of the

taintless symbol

of the Self is (like) the washing off the scraps from the hands of

the spiritually

ignorant with the water of (spiritual) Knowledge.

 

aGYaana = (spiritual) ignorance

uchchhishhTa = scraps

karasya = (of the) hand

kshaalanaM = washing

GYaana = (spiritual) knowledge

vaariNaa = (by) water

vishuddhasya = (of the) pure

aatmaliN^gasya = symbol of the Self

hasta = hand

prakshaalanaM = purifying ablution

smaret.h = (let one) keep in mind
