Guest guest
Namaste, There is a tremendous difference between Sanyasa given/taken and Sanyasa that takes place in one. It is like forcing a bud to blossom, and a bud blossoms itself at the right time. That flower alone spreads the fragrance. Needless to say, when Sanyasa is given to one when he is not ready, more often than not, such a person will not be able to live as a Sanyasi. On the other hand, when Sanyasa takes place in one, which is very very rare, it “happens” when one’s all agenda in life gets resolved on the wake of Self Knowledge. The examples, IMHO, for the latter are Gautama Budha, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa and Bhagavan Ramana Maharishi. For the former, we have a number of examples, presently living and of course past.
