Guest guest
Namaste, as the world appear because of Maya....the truth appear maybe in Maya too how possible that the truth appear in Maya?... how possible that there is a realised person appearing in the own Maya perception? it's a light ...a candle in the darkness which appear...to show us the way the mind need to have the wish of a light....the wish of clear view....the deep wish to escape the illusions and darkness for most of spiritual people it's a great help to get connected by this way to a Guru and teacher.... ...one who show everything by the own light.... ....one who's body mind intellect is "swinging" in cosmic consciousness.....who is filled up with Love in whole of body mind intellect..... one who is Brahman..... one who Is the essence of what we ever have been..... the Guru and the student become One...by the "understanding" of the student...on the path.... on the path to let go.....the illusion of being this body mind intellect which is limited by time and space.....and appearing by the power of Maya.... Being Brahman is the only truth which bring deep happiness and peace .....being All this what is everywhere and in everything so it happen that we become aware of a "different" view and Being....by following deepest heart..... with many thanks for the one's who choosed maybe the most interesting job a spiritual mind can imagine.....the job of spiritual teacher love and peace Marc
Guest guest
Namaste: There is no 'mAyA' in the Truth, but due to 'mAyA'the Truth can't be perceived by the 'intellect!' The questions - what is 'mAyA' and what is the 'Truth' are simultaneously answered for the realized soul. The mahavakya (great saying), I am the Brahman (Aham Brahmastami) is very subtle! Vedanta just confirms, the meaning of aham Brahmastami can not become clear through intellectual analysis. We all attempt to do an intellectual analysis of the maka vakyas, forbidden by the scriptures. The seeker grows spritually by asking the right questions and get clarity, and this process continues, at somepoint, with spirtual maturiry, the seeker learnt to stop asking questions. He/she contemplates, meditates and recognizes the Truth internally trhough atmavichara! No one can explain this, this is an evolutionary process, one of the most recent example of our time is the emerge of Ramana Maharishi! Guest guest
Namaste Ram Chandran, thank you for your reply... if i understand your words ....you mean that Maya is not included in the truth?... maybe i agree in saying that, one who is aware of Maya...is in the truth.... you write: "The questions - what is 'mAyA' and what > is the 'Truth' are simultaneously answered for the realized soul." i believe that the intellect sometimes can "catch" the truth....by any chance of practice....and by asking the right questions.... and so, that this question you mentionned can be answered in many moments of the spiritual life after all....nobody is very far from the (inner) truth....and the Self , which is there to give the insights at the right time... ....a realised person maybe has an answer to this question at all the time....constantly.... thats what make a person "realised"...as far i know you are right....there is a time when a seeker has less questions or no more ask questions.... if the awarness of Maya is growing....the seeker follow more and more the inner Self..... you write: "There is no 'mAyA' in the Truth, but due to 'mAyA'the Truth can't be > perceived by the 'intellect!'" interesting words.... the truth is untouched by body mind intellect....the truth of Oneness can't be percieved so by the intellect.... only by "Being"....the Self.... "there is no Maya in the Truth"....i agree Maya and intellect are related kind of.... often, highly intellectual people have a strong mind...and so, tend to be stronger attached to Maya.... very intellectual teachers are necessary to "bring them down" to the truth... you talk about Ramana Maharshi.... yes....it's a wonderful teacher and realised person i like the way of his "Being" as spiritual Master.... i think most of the time he didn't talk much...and teached "silence"..... i'm surprised about the endless Ramana "messages" people can read and study.....again and again.... didn't know that he left so many words....or wanted to leave kind of "spiritual" teaching....books..... thank you for your words... love and peace Marc advaitin, "Ram Chandran" <RamChandran@a...> wrote: > > Namaste: > > There is no 'mAyA' in the Truth, but due to 'mAyA'the Truth can't be > perceived by the 'intellect!' Guest guest
Dear Marc, praNAm, You said: "Maya and intellect are related kind of.... often, highly intellectual people have a strong mind...and so, tend to be stronger attached to Maya.... very intellectual teachers are necessary to "bring them down" to the truth..." Thats very nicely put, thanks for those words. I just used them to mail some of my close ones to justify my inclinations. I prefer to say *bring them up* instead of your *bring them down*, although its a figure of speech, since I think its a steep climb for the seeker and its too easy to slip back down into the vicious spiral, away from the truth. And the more one gets the mAyic desires, the more difficult it is to come out, endorsing your words of needing a more intellectual teacher! jai bajranga bali, --praveeN
