In the Eternal NOW, called the Self, this maya that we call life is indeed

It is wonderful because it is the Joy that is the Self itself. This Joy has

been called sphurana, Kundalini; and undiluted with thoughts it is the Samadhi

of dreamless-sleep.

 

 

 

When thoughts keep the mind blind to the NOW then these thoughts create all

sorts of dualities, like time. These dualities define the karma that maya needs

to be entertaining, lila.

 

Karma is the wild-goose-chase that thoughts define as they chase each other

around the never-changing and eternal NOW.

 

Identify with the thoughts that we call the mind and we are the karma

generators, called thoughts, the mind. Be aware that the mind is what it

thinks, just thoughts, and this Awareness is the “wonderful” Joy called Self.

 

The Self is this JOY that personifies the entertainment called maya, life. And

this Joy also includes all the wild-goose-chases called karma that makes and

keeps maya, life, entertaining.

 

 

 

-- this eternal and changeless JOY -- that is NOW -- you are, and only

thoughts can think otherwise.

Raghava:-

Original sin in the Bible - Genesis synchronises

with the origin of maya.

This has been loosely translated as 'sin' in English,

and one has to go back to the original Hebrew/Greek to

understand it without negative connotations and its

mysterious nature.

So is the case with all sins and evil - - this is the

mystery.

Preachers can never last long with this approach IMHO.

 

What is needed is the advaitic assertion -

Exodus 3:14 "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM:"

John 10:30 - I and my Father are one

 

stating the oneness of jivAtma and paramAtma.
