Guest guest
The mind is nothing but thoughts. It is what it thinks. The Supreme Comedy (maya) is that most minds think they are something when they have to be nothing, but thoughts. To ask the question "Why does the mind think what it thinks?" takes the Supreme Comedy to just another level thoughts need to be something when in fact they are still Nothing. "Nietzsche made the same mistake… without consideration to truth." How can I make a mistake, I am Nothing. I'm not the thoughts that come out of Nothing to be Nothing , and I'm certainly not the body my mind thinks it has, to be something. Nietzsche had only one deficiency: he was nowhere near the fool that I must be to be Nothing. -- TTCOON, gp =-============================================== advaitin, "Chittaranjan Naik" <chittaranjan_naik> wrote: > > Dear Gee Pee, > > Why does a mind think what it thinks? > > If a mind thinks that fire is cold, does the fire become cold? > Nietzsche made the same mistake - thinking that life-furthering value- > tables could be built without consideration to truth. Guest guest
Dear GP, you write: "The mind is nothing but thoughts" because of the mind....the (dream)world appear the perception of the world depend on the mind which is related to body, intellect... the world is nothing but a "thought"? maybe the world make that there is a mind having such "thought". the mind can be very usefull in knowing "who and what one Is"....and also to know that it is limited on a certain "appearance of the world" .....and that without Self (Consciousness).....nothing would ever appear....included the mind ....the Self is not this body-mind-intellect...... but this body-mind-intellect Is because of the Self few words only..... love and peace Marc advaitin, "Gene Polotas" <gpalotas> wrote: > > > > > The mind is nothing but thoughts.
