Thanks, Sundar Rajan - ji for giving the link to Vidyashankar-ji's introductory explanations at the right time. This would be a right policy for the discussion of this topic. Many must have contributed very valuable articles on such an important topic as the Gita. As and when members notice that some old reference on the web would be valuable reading in the context of the present discussion of the Gita, they are invited to give the links at the appropriate time so that beginning members may benefit by being exposed to the reference. Thank you, Sundarrajan also for calling our attention to Swami Paramarthananda's audio tapes. PraNAms to all advaitins profvk
Guest guest
Namaste. Why go to Advaita-L? Vidyasankarji did post his essay on the same date (3rd October 1998) on our List too (Message # 275)! He did subsequently post some material on our List on the same topic on 11th August 2002. I notice that his post has vanished as there are no posts seen for that date although subsequent posts downthread are avaialble! PraNAms. The Advaitin e-scribe archives : http://www.escribe.com/culture/advaitin/index.html has the Preface and 3-part series at: http://www.escribe.com/culture/advaitin/m13943.html http://www.escribe.com/culture/advaitin/m14015.html http://www.escribe.com/culture/advaitin/m14108.html http://www.escribe.com/culture/advaitin/m14168.html [Pl. note that the message numbers on the List and Archives do not match!] Regards, Sunder
