Namaste: My favourites in the Gita are named by me the 'five-star shlokas'. They are as many as a hundred. Now and then I shall write to you about them. Here is one: (V - 30) mayi sarvANi karmANi sannyasyAdhyAtma cetasA / nirAshir-nirmamo bhUtvA yudhyasva vigata-jvaraH // I had talked about it in : advaitin/message/5302 The shloka means: Renouncing all actions in me, (SharaNAgati) with the mind centred in the Self, (Brahma-BhAva) free from desire (Yoga-sAdhanA) and (free) from egoism, (Bhakti: 'God is the Doer') do thou fight without mental fever. (Karma yoga) Thus the shloka contains the ingredients of all the five teachings of the Gita. PraNAms to all advaitins. profvk
