Guest guest
Namaste All. ProfVK Ji conveyed a member's thoughts:- advaitin/message/26609 >Proceeding from this base, the proponent concludes >that Ishvara also is mAyA and so all worship, pUjA, >divine will, the concept of surrender, -- all these > are non-existent. A consequence of this is to deny >1. Existence of Ishvara >2. Concept of Divine will >3. Concept of Surrender. Due to the relevance of Divine-Will and Surrender, I have taken the liberty to convert this thread to the monthly topic. gItA clearly says that even Lord Krishna acts continuiouly and he has nothing to gain by doing so. If the acts were to be non-existent as the proponent claims, Lord Krishna would not have said so. gItA also says beautifully, "brahmArpaNaM brahmAhavihi...", whereas the proponent feels that the actions are non-existent. The proponent assumes that mAya is non-existent and hence calls everything non-existent including iswara, divine-will, surrender, actions. As we know, mAyA is neither existent nor non-existent and is called 'anirvacanIya'. mAyA itself is from the brahman and is non-separate and hence all in it. How then can one deny oneself and iswara ? The strong conviction of the proponent itself is wonderful. From the conviction starts a journey towards the Truth that does not change.
