Guest guest
Namaste, Sachin Chavan-ji. Welcome to the Group. I thought it fit to share with all, the following meaningful introduction about yourself. PraNAms to all advaitins profvk ---------------- What can I say about myself and still remain true to Advaitic principles? In real terms, I am That... that's all. All that follows in the following paragraph is about this body-mind phenomenon that came into existence 33 years ago. Deeply inspired by Shankara's Neti-marg and Ramana Maharshi's path of Self-Inquiry, I have no intellectual doubts remaining about my true nature now. All that remains is to realise this experientially (which is all that matters). And the teachings of the great Advaitic masters from Buddha (I believe he was an Advaitic) to Shankara to Ramana to Nisargadatta Maharaj have been providing guidance towards this end. Trivial information about me: An engineer from IIT Mumbai and MBA, I spent over 6 years with a global management consulting firm advising corporates on ways and means to get value out of their operations. After that, over the last 4 years, I am guiding investors in Indian stock markets to earn profits on their investments. That's what I do for a livelihood... and try my best to remain detached from all actions and the results. The most obvious reason for me to be a part of this emailing list is of course to keep getting inspiration and pointers from you all Jnani people and contribute in the interest of newcomers. But no less important is to benefit from the Grace which flows through an activity focused on Self-realisation... in other words, Satsang! Tat tvam asi (You are that) Sachin Chavan (the name of this phenomenon)

Guest guest
Thanks everybody for making me feel welcome. A nice poem I came across couple of days back: Through Thee have I forgotten Thee! By Akka Mahadevi (12th Century) English version by Armando Menezes After my body became Thyself, whom could I serve? After my mind became Thyself, whom could I invoke? After my consciousness was lost in Thee, Whom could I know? Being Thyself in Thee, O Cenna Mallikarjuna Lord, Through Thee have I forgotten Thee! advaitin, kuntimaddi sadananda <kuntimaddisada> wrote: > Sachin Chavanji, > > Welcome to the list and delighted to know you and your interests and > will be looking forword to your sat sangh. > > Hari OM! > Sadananda > > > The most obvious reason for me to be a part of this > > emailing list is of course to keep getting inspiration and > > pointers from you all Jnani people and contribute in the > > interest of newcomers.
