Guest guest
"There was once a very wise and gently king who learned that there were a number of innocent persons in this state prison. So he decreed that another, more comfortable prison be constructed for the innocent." Anthony de Mello, S.J. We need to be careful we don't do the same mistake in our Sadhana. Instead of freeing the innocent prisoners, the king ordered more comfortable prisons for them. Similarly, instead of living in real freedom (freedom from the body-mind-intellect and its resultant desires and aversions) is our Sadhana merely building a more attractive prison for us?
