Guest guest
Namaste The advaitin list welcomes 'non-sum'. Here is the introduction: Hello, and thank you for your kind consideration, I consider myself an 'eclectic mystic,' and no more one religion than any other. I am not a scholar of Vedanta or eastern religion, but a life-long student of them. 'Advaita Vedanta' falls closest to my philosophical understanding of what 'The Perennial Philosophy' is about (i.e. "Brahman alone is, nothing else is"), yet no 'philosophy' can ever come close to describing the actual experience of Self (Atman). The relevant incidentals attendent to this 59 year old male jiva are an undergraduate degree in philosophy, and criminal justice, and a masters in gerontology. Several, more recent, years of forum posting, and a sincere love of discussion and spiritual topic. May you select wisely, Non Sum (Lat. "i am not")
