Namaste Tony-ji, Without agreeing or disagreeing with you on what constitues 'verbal nondualism' I like your coinage of the word 'verbal non-dualism' because this becomes a familiar involuntary habit with most of us who have heard (*shravana*) a little about advaita , practised (*manana*) less of the same, and tasted (*nididhyasana*) still less of it! This habit is one more VAsanA which we have to get over with! PraNAms to all advaitins. profvk
Guest guest
Namaste profvk, You're right about needing to "get 'over'" things. We all need objectivity. Some Christians, ironically, become quite proud of their great humilty. The doctrinaire comes to love 'his' doctrine; forgeting that it was never more than a pointing finger. Sadhana too, enhances the pride of the proficient. Pride in accomplishment can lead to snobbery and giving insult by disparaging the lesser exertions and mileage of others. I admit that I am a nothing and a nobody. No insult taken. But please, guard yourself from doing harm to yourself. We must be generous of spirit, and humble of accomplishment, and a wise fellow will win many worthy friends--excluding none to please others. Your friend, and Self, NS advaitin, "V.
