Namaste all

I had recently several opportunities to visit the free

encyclopedia pages of Wikepedia on the web. The article on

Adi Shankara has a summary of the arguments for dating

Shankara to the 5th century B.C.

Also I would like to commend the encyclopedia itself to the

attention of all our members on this list. I find it is a

worthwhile marathon venture that seems to be working fine.

Particularly I like the fantastic organization they have

done to allow free editing and also to have enough checks

and balances to correct and prevent vandalism in writing.
