Guest guest
Namaskar, RashtraSant Tukdoji Mahraj used to compose Bhajans exptempore and sing with music of his famous instrument called Khanjiri. Once he and Swami Muktanand (Vajreshwari) went to meet Mahatma Gandhi, (some people say he was alone) , who was on Mouna Vrata. (austerity observed by not speaking). Mahatmaji knowing the skill of Rashtra Sant, requested him with hand-signals that he should sing a Bhajan of Lord Raama. Tukdoji Maharaj with his khanjiri ready, recited a Bhajan composed extempore. When Mahatmaji (Ram Bhakta) listened to his Bhajan, he burst in to tears and broken his austerity of Moun Vrata. He touched the feet of Rashtra Sant, praised him and his Bhajan. Here is that Bhajan. Kismatse Ram Mila Unako Jisane Yeh Tin Jagah Payi Pahale To Dhan, Sut Daar Gaya, Aru Shal Dushala Tut Pada Sab Manjil Hathi Ghodose, Nahi Paas Raha Sadhan Kohi Dujese Jag Apaman Huwa, Adar To Sab Jay Bhaga Nahi Kimmat Jat Biradar Me Saathi Na Raha Kuchh Samazai Tijese Apad Tan Bhogi, Din-raat Rahe Jaisa Rogi Nainose Sukh Nahi Dekha, Sab Umari Dukh Me Ja Khoyi In Tinose Kangaal Huwa Par Yaad Usiki Karata Tha Bin Naam Prabhu Ke Zoot Sabhi Yeh Bhaav Hamesha Manmahi Yeh Tin Jagah Jisko Na Mili Usko Na Kabhi Deedar Huwa Kai Janma Jara Bharate-bharate, Tukadya Ko Gurupad Yeh Payi. Translation : They were very lucky who attained "Raama" by three achievements in their lives. The first achievement was that they lost their wife, money and children, and all their worldly belongings. The second achievement was that they lost their social status and were insulted everywhere in society and among relatives. The third achievement was, they put up with all the physical tortures like an ailing person, and never experienced what we understand by worldly happiness in whole life. He became bankrupt and bereft of all these three, but he never missed recalling Prabhu, as he knew in his mind that everything in this world was false except the name of Prabhu. One could never attain Raama ( experience Atma) , who could not make these three achievements in life. I, ( Tukdoji Maharaj) received this Guru Pada (post of guru) after experience of tortures in this and many past births. Anil
